重慶師范大學音樂學院始建于2001年，前身為重慶師范學院音樂系，2004年更名為“重慶師范大學音樂學院”，同年重慶市教委在我校設(shè)立 “重慶音樂學院”。多年來，學院以培養(yǎng)音樂教育師資和復(fù)合型音樂表演人才為已任，堅持“教學立院、學科強院、制度理院、和諧興院”的辦學理念，辦學規(guī)模和師資隊伍不斷壯大，人才質(zhì)量和學科水平不斷提升。

    The Conservatory of Music at Chongqing Normal University, which was formerly knownas theDepartment of Music, established in 2001. In 2004 its name was changed and theChongqing Municipal Education Commission established Chongqing Conservatory of Music. For a long time, the Conservatory of Music aimed at training music education teachers and inter-disciplinary music performers. The Conservatory of Music has insisted onthe principle of building the conservatory by teaching, consolidating the conservatory by disciplines, managing the conservatory by institution and revitalizing the conservatory by harmony. With these principles, the school scale and the group of teachers have continuedto expand, while the personnel quality and discipline level has continuedto improve.

　　辦學規(guī)模學院現(xiàn)有教職工近95人，研究生、本專科學生1000余人。形成了涵蓋音樂學、音樂表演、舞蹈表演、舞蹈學四個本科專業(yè)，以及音樂與舞蹈一級學科點、藝術(shù)碩士、音樂教育學、學科教學（音樂）多層次學科專業(yè)體系；設(shè)有音樂學系、音樂表演系和舞蹈系及聲樂、鋼琴、理論、器樂、舞蹈、音樂技能教研室、流行音樂教研室；擁有教育部藝術(shù)師資培養(yǎng)培訓基地和重慶市音樂師資培訓基地，已為全國培訓了1200多名在職音樂教師。

　　School Scale

    The Conservatory of Music currently consists of 95staff and1000 graduates and under-graduates. At present, this conservatory providesmusicology, dance , music performances and dance performances at the undergraduate level, music study, dance study, music performancesand dance performancesat bachelor’s degree level and curriculum and teaching (Music Education) at the Master’s Degree level. Currently, the Conservatory of Music is with the Department of Music, Department of Music Performance and seven teaching and research sections, covering vocal music, piano, music theory, instruments, dance, music teaching skill, and pop music. The Conservatory of Music is also recognized as the MOE’s training center for art teachers and Chongqing training center for art teachers, which has trained nearly 1200 on-job music teachers.

　　師資隊伍學院擁有一支結(jié)構(gòu)合理、思想活躍、團結(jié)奮進的師資隊伍。其中院內(nèi)教授12人、客座教授17人、博士17人，分別畢業(yè)于中國音樂學院、上海音樂學院、烏克蘭柴可夫斯基音樂學院，俄羅斯格涅辛音樂學院等國內(nèi)外著名的音樂學院。院長為重慶市音協(xié)主席、梅花獎得主張禮慧教授。學院特聘著名音樂家金鐵霖、王秉銳、卞祖善、許知俊等為學院客座教授。

　　The Group of Teachers

    The Conservatory of Music has a reasonably structured, active thinking and industrious team of teachers. Among all the staff, 12are Professors, 16 are visiting Professors, 17 have received PHD. They are all graduates from professional music academies, such as China Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, UkraineTchaikovsky Conservatory of Music, and Russian Conservatory of Music. The current dean is Miss Zhang Lihui who is also the President of Chongqing Music Association and the winner of China Plum Blossom Award. This conservatory also invited nationally renowned music scholars like Jin Tielin, Wang Bingrui, Bian Zhushan and Xu Zhijun as guest professors.  

　　教學科研學院堅持教學的中心地位，實行教學“雙選”制度，是教育部音樂學（教師教育）專業(yè)課程改革試點單位，承擔多項省部級以上科研項目，在音樂類核心期刊發(fā)表論文223篇之多，多次榮獲中央電視臺青歌賽金獎、第24屆梅花獎等重大獎項、五個一工程獎、群星獎等。

　　Teaching & Researching

　　The Conservatory of Music adheres to teaching as the center of all workandadopts the two-way selection system. This conservatory is the MOE reform pilot for music education, and hasundertaken multiple provincial level research projects and published 223 academic articles. This conservatory was also awardedthe Gold Award of theCCTV Youth Song Competition, the 24thChina Plum Blossom Award, Five project prize, Star Award, and so on.

　　藝術(shù)實踐學院重視師生的藝術(shù)實踐活動，設(shè)有合唱團、交響樂團、舞蹈團。學生在藝術(shù)實踐活動中碩果累累，2009年獲得第七屆“金鐘獎”合唱比賽優(yōu)秀獎等重大獎項，2012年獲得全國聲樂比賽合唱組三等獎。

　　Art Practice

    The Conservatory of Music has alwaysput special emphasis on students’and teachers’art practice. Art groups like Chorus, Symphony Orchestraand Dance Society have been established. Students’art practice has lead to notable achievements. In 2009, the Students’Chorus was awarded the Excellence of Golden Bell Award. In 2012 won the national vocal competition three prize of singing group.

　　交流合作學院國際交流廣泛，與佩魯賈音樂學院、圣彼得堡音樂學院、柴可夫斯基音樂學院等建立了良好合作交流關(guān)系，近5年，互訪交流、合作研究、派出進修累計45人次。目前，音樂學院全體教職員工正為把學院建設(shè)成為西部乃至全國有一定影響的新型高師音樂學院而努力。

　　International Cooperation & Exchange

　　The Conservatory of Music has undertaken extensive international cooperation. It has established close cooperative relationships with Perugia Conservatory of Music, St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music and UkraineTchaikovsky Conservatory of Music. In the last 5 years, this conservatory sent 45 musicians overseas for exchange visits, cooperative research and further study. At present, all the staff of Conservatory of Music isworking to make this school into a senior music academy with great influencewithin west China and the whole nation.
